  Sebastian Hughes (Narrator) Once homeless, turned his life around using a number of service programs for homeless residents. In an effort to give back Sebastian narrates this documentary on the critical problem of homelessness in America.
 
  Chris Valdez - 52 yrs. old. Homeless for 12 years. Known to sleep in abandoned houses, buildings, bridges and Guadalupe River banks.
 
  Denise Segmiller - 50 yrs. old. Homeless for 13 years. Repeatedly beaten and hospitalized as a result from: prostitution, boyfriend and gang bangers.
 
  Red Hawk - Real Name & Age unknown. Homeless for twelve years. Arrested several times for sleeping on restricted property.

Nick Butterfield (Nurse Practitioner)Treats patients at Gardner Family Health. A provider of health care and behavioral services dedicated to improving the lives and health status of low and moderate-income communities in Santa Clara County.
 
Jennifer Loving (Executive Director, Destination House)A public-private partnership dedicated to ending chronic homelessness in Santa Clara County. Jennifer has more than 15 years experience working with homeless youth, families and adults in a variety of shelter, street and group home settings. “Jennifer understands that increasing access to permanent housing is the key to ending chronic homelessness”.
 
Leslye Corsiglia (Director, San Jose Housing Department)The mission of the San Jose Housing Department is to encourage greater involvement of the public and private sectors to increase and preserve the stock of affordable housing in San Jose. Leslye helps to administer programs that assist the homeless and develop policies and programs to end and prevent homelessness.
 
Sam Liccardo (San Jose, City Council Member)In his role on the San Jose City Council, Sam advocates for the downtown area and its surrounding neighborhoods. His top priorities include affordable housing, smart growth & transportation, economic development & downtown revitalization, environmental stewardship and neighborhoods. Sam’s previous work in the community included tutoring homeless children and serving on the boards of several affordable housing organizations.
 
Jake McCluskey (Kelly’s Store Manager)in San Jose’s Hensley District, is a steward for neighborhood events and affairs. He is a proud spokesman for his community and volunteers his time for several homeless causes.
 
Lori Collins (Senior Director of InnVision)empowers homeless and at-risk families & individuals to gain stability by providing housing, food, and programs that promote self-sufficiency. This includes emergency shelters, transitional/supportive housing, and permanent multi-housing units & apartments. This comprehensive network of services meets both the emergency and longer-term need of the homeless and low-income men, women, families, veterans, and the mentally ill.
